OUR STORY

“It takes twenty years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you’ll do things differently.”

~ Warren Buffett

Coach Road Capital began in 2002 as Retail Development Group. A series of successful retail developments paved the way to other opportunities including apartments, mini-storage, office, medical, and industrial. Over the years, the Coach Road team has acquired, developed, managed, or advised on hundreds of millions of dollars worth of real estate.

We expanded into retail franchising in 2005 with the acquisition of 2 Pet Supplies Plus (“PSP”) stores in Texas and Wisconsin. Through a series of follow-on acquisitions and new store developments, we have since become the largest franchisee in the PSP system, generating more than $100 million of revenue annually across 66 stores in 11 states.

Today, our activities are allocated between two divisions. The Coach Road division handles real estate and non-PSP franchise investments, while the U.S. Retail division is responsible for the management and growth of the PSP portfolio.
